Riziki Kenya’s Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic
Cushioning the vulnerable community
The COVID-19 pandemic outbreak of 2020 placed a prompt overwhelming burden on health systems, education, livelihoods therefore economy, culture, religion and international relations.
The government with the advantage of prior learning from the East and Europe, was joined by Non-governmental actors and other stakeholders with effective response and appropriate interventions, policies and messages.
Riziki Kenya rolled out a timely covid-19 response initiative and sought to mitigate the effects by cushioning targeted community in extremely trying times. Despite the disruption of livelihoods as peoples means of survival were severed and education brought to an almost halt safe for online sessions, drastic setbacks in economic and individual growth, there is hope to bounce back and be on restoration on human recovery the cycle of post Covid-19.
Our prayer and call to God.
Masks to be shared with the most vulnerable
